Pricing
You pay for the modules you switch on.
There is no list price, because there is no standard retailer. Your quote is built from your formats, your store and lane count, and the modules you actually turn on.
How licensing works
Four rules, and no asterisks under them.
You licence the modules you switch on
Not a bundle you grow into. A convenience chain that never opens a central kitchen never pays for one, and a module switched on later is priced from the day it goes live.
It scales with the estate, not the headcount
Store-facing modules are priced per store and per lane, because that is what your business grows in. Head office seats are not metered, so nobody has to ration logins to a buyer who needs one.
One platform fee, then the modules
The platform fee covers your private environment, single sign-on, master data, integrations and support. Everything above it is the catalogue you choose from.
Implementation is quoted separately
A rollout is a retail project with a defined scope, so it is priced as one rather than buried in a subscription you cannot compare.
What moves the number
Six things, and we will tell you which one is hurting.
Ask us for a quote and you get a breakdown by line, not a single figure. If one of these is what makes it expensive, you should be able to see that and decide.
- Store count and formats
- How many stores, and which of them are supermarkets, convenience, malls or a central kitchen.
- Lanes and devices
- Staffed lanes, self-checkout, smart trolleys and handhelds in the aisle.
- Modules
- Which of the suites and modules you switch on, and when each goes live.
- Companies and regions
- One operating company or several, and the regions your environment has to sit in.
- Partner portals
- How many suppliers, tenants and landlords you bring onto the platform.
- Term
- Annual or multi-year, which is where most of the movement in a quote comes from.
Build your module list
Start from your format, then take things off.
Pick a format and we will tick the modules that retailer usually starts with. Change anything you like. Nothing here is a price; it is the list your quote gets built from, and it arrives with your request so the first call starts from your scope rather than ours.
Step one — your format
Step two — the modules
Sell
The lane, the app and the campaign that fills the basket.
Operate
The dock, the shelf, the kitchen and the roster.
Collaborate
The suppliers, tenants and landlords you trade with.
Run
The ledger, the audit and the identity behind it all.
In every licence
The platform fee is not a line you have to decode.
Whatever you switch on above it, this is what sits underneath and is never quoted as an extra.
- Your own private environment, in the region you choose
- Single sign-on, roles and permissions across every module
- Master data, imports and the integration connectors
- Releases, staged device rollouts and rollback
- Helpdesk with SLAs, and a developer service desk for your integration team
- Trainer guides and role-based courses in the employee app
Questions we get asked
The awkward ones, answered.
- Why are there no prices on this page?
- Because the honest answer depends on your estate. Two retailers with the same store count can differ by a factor of three once formats, lanes and modules are counted. A number here would be wrong for almost everybody who read it.
- Can we start with one suite and add later?
- That is the usual shape. Most retailers start with Checkout and Store Operations in a pilot store, then add suites once the rollout is running. Modules added later are priced from the day they go live, not backdated.
- Is there a minimum?
- There is a practical one. Below roughly ten stores the implementation cost dominates the licence, and we will say so rather than sell you a rollout that does not pay for itself.
- What happens when we close stores?
- Store-based licensing falls with the estate at renewal. It does not fall mid-term, because the environment and the support behind it do not.
- Do you charge for the partner portals?
- The supplier, tenant and landlord portals are licensed to you, not to them. Your partners are never asked to pay to trade with you.
